Overcoming self-sabotage and growing through self-encounter
Many of us know the feeling of being in a constant battle with ourselves. We want to be strong, feel stable and calm down, but we often sabotage ourselves unconsciously: by distracting ourselves, numbing ourselves or ignoring our true needs. One way to break out of these patterns is through inner constellation work or self-encounter - a method that brings deeply hidden blockages to light and connects us with our inner strength. There you can find your inner strength.
An example from self-encounter: discovering inner strength
In a recent session, the focus was on the question: "How do I find my strength again?" The participants shared their experiences with pressure, powerlessness and the longing for peace. One resonance giver described difficulties in really calming down and at the same time the need to remain productive. He spoke of feelings of being overwhelmed, energy blockages and the subtle desire to just be for once.
In the constellation work, various inner parts were symbolically positioned. One resonance giver took on the role of the powerless, another embodied the pressure, another the longing for peace. Suddenly it became noticeable how these parts were in conflict with each other: the pressure blocked peace, and the powerless person felt cut off as a result. The person who raised the issue himself realized that a significant part of his strength was trapped in these inner tensions.
The solution through inner connection
A decisive turning point came when the person who raised the issue was invited to visualize his inner strength as a stable tree. With his eyes closed, he imagined how this tree puts down deep roots in the earth, firmly anchored and at the same time flexible. The roots symbolized stability, while the wide-spreading branches stood for growth and liveliness. This visualization helped to establish a clear connection to the inner strength - a strength that had always been there, but was often overshadowed.
At the end of the session, all resonance givers felt a sense of relief and connection. The person who asked for the request decided to take concrete steps to strengthen this connection in everyday life, including:
• Regular visits to the sauna to relax the body and mind.
• Daily journaling to consciously perceive moments of strength and gratitude.
• The integration of energetic practices such as Kundalini meditation and body percussion to noticeably activate one's own energy.
• More trust in one's fellow human beings and especially in the strength of one's daughter - letting go instead of controlling.
What makes this work so valuable
The inner constellation work goes far beyond pure conversation. It allows you to feel deep-seated blockages, not just understand them. By dealing with different parts of yourself - such as the powerless or overwhelmed part - you can find out where you are standing in your own way. Often it is unconscious beliefs or old fears that prevent you from living your full strength.
This method opens up a space in which you can discover new possibilities:
• Let go of old patterns: recognize where you sabotage yourself and find ways to break these patterns.
• Feel your inner strength: experience that the strength you are looking for is already within you - deeply rooted and stable.
• Design a new everyday life: create rituals and spaces in which you can consciously live your strength.
Recognize and transform self-sabotage
The inner constellation work shows impressively how much we often block ourselves: through pressure to perform, perfectionism or the pursuit of external recognition. We numb ourselves with alcohol, consumption or endless scrolling and thereby deprive ourselves of our most valuable resource - the connection to ourselves.
But the good news is: we can change these patterns. It takes courage to face these parts, but the reward is great. When you learn to be at peace with yourself, you feel a power that grows from within - without pressure, without distraction.
Self-encounter: the key to inner strength
The journey to your own power begins with the willingness to meet yourself. Inner constellation work is a powerful tool for releasing blockages, recognizing self-sabotage and strengthening the connection to your inner power. It is a path that leads you to your true self - stable like a tree, deeply rooted and full of life.
Remember: your power is already there. You just have to allow it.
